Rottweiler’s are very popular dogs. Known for their boldness and power, many people wish to own them for their intimidating factor against intruders and enjoyment as family pets. These medium sized powerhouses have a rugged build with coats that are short and glossy, black with rust markings. Eyes are almond in shape and dark in color with triangular ears which hang down when relaxed. Tails are normally docked. Its overall appearance is that of courage, agility and strength. As these facts reflect the breed standard, then this would be a genuine purebred.
